Terms of Service
Last updated: May 12, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Voxmea ("the Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Voxmea is an AI-powered content rewriting platform. Users submit YouTube video URLs, pasted text, or uploaded audio/video files; Voxmea transcribes and rewrites that content in the user's personal writing voice using large language models including Anthropic Claude and OpenAI GPT-4. The Service includes style profile creation, output format selection, draft editing, and a refinement system for iterative improvements.
3. Accounts and Registration
To use Voxmea you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at legal@voxmea.app of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Rewrite Quota and Plans
Access to the Service is granted through subscription plans that include a monthly rewrite quota ("rewrites"). Each rewrite consumed counts against your monthly allowance. Unused rewrites do not roll over to the next billing period.
- Free plan: 2 rewrites per month
- Creator plan: 100 rewrites per month
- Pro plan: 300 rewrites per month
- Team plan: effectively unlimited rewrites per seat
We reserve the right to modify plan limits and pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or illegal
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties
- Rewrite copyrighted content without proper authorization
- Violate YouTube's Terms of Service when submitting YouTube URLs — you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process the source content
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract model weights or prompts
- Resell access to the Service or its outputs as a competing product
- Submit content that contains malware, phishing links, or harmful code
6. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service ("Input Content") and all AI-generated drafts produced for your account ("Output Content"). By submitting Input Content you grant Voxmea a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
We do not use your Input Content or Output Content to train foundation models. Your style profiles, writing samples, and rewrite history are yours. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of Output Content complies with applicable laws, including copyright and trademark law.
7. YouTube and Third-Party Content
When you submit a YouTube URL, Voxmea fetches metadata and transcript data via YouTube's API or audio transcription. You represent that you have the right to process the source video under applicable law and YouTube's Terms of Service. Voxmea is not affiliated with YouTube or Google. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party transcripts or metadata.
8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Output Content is generated by large language models and may contain inaccuracies, fabrications, or content that resembles existing published works. Voxmea provides a factuality review step but this is not a guarantee of accuracy. You are responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and editing all Output Content before publishing. We disclaim all liability for claims arising from AI-generated content that you publish.
9. Payments and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account. You authorize us to charge the payment method on file for recurring subscription fees.
10. DMCA and Copyright
If you believe that content generated through Voxmea infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA takedown notice to legal@voxmea.app with the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). We will respond to valid notices in accordance with applicable law.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we cease offering the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. You may cancel your account at any time from the billing settings page.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voxmea and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data loss, or reputational harm. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your intended purpose.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Delaware. If you are located outside the United States, local mandatory consumer protection laws may apply alongside these Terms.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
